Tornamagno Marche Rosso I.G.T.
£17.20 – £103.20750ml BottlesA noble and important wine produced since 1985, it has risen to the highest podiums in the world. The grapes Montepulciano and Sangiovese are harvested by hand, fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks for 24 months and then stored in small oak barrels for at least 12 months followed by additional long aging in bottle.
This wine has won multiple awards over the years, since first production.

Tűske Rozé
£18.50 – £111.00750ml BottlesA light and vivacious rosé from a high-altitude, windy plateau-like vineyard in the Szekszard region of southern Hungary. A blend of the local grape kekfrankos, along with merlot and pinot noir, it’s made using the “saignee” method. This involves “bleeding” the wine off from the skins after a very short period of contact, giving the soft rosé colour.
On the nose: An explosive scent of citrus fruits and fresh crushed strawberries, cherries and blood orange.
On the palate: Light bodied and elegant, with great balance of quenching acidity to the full flavour of fresh red fruits.
Recommended combination with food: Perfect with chicken nicoise salad, salmon, charcuterie board, feta, spinach, or mint and quinoa tartlettes.

Verdeca Salento
£11.75 – £70.50750ml Bottles
Verdeca is a relatively rare white wine grape variety from southern Italy, now found almost exclusively in the Taranto and Bari provinces of central Puglia (it is easily confused with the similarly named Verdea, an equally rare variety from Tuscany). While it is typically used as a blending grape there are a handful of modern producers who are experimenting with varietal Verdeca wines in order to raise its profile – generally speaking, it is difficult to make a great wine from 100% Verdeca.
On the nose: Its bouquet is surprisingly intense and fine with a scent of apricot, flowers and rosemary
On the palate: its balance between freshness, sapidity and alcoholic tenor is perfect. Lovely and persistent, the citrusy and lightly balsamic final creates harmony to the taste
Recommended combination with food: It pairs best with light risotto, buffalo mozzarella cheese, or more traditionally “pancotto” with vegetables, orecchiette with turnip greens, puccia with onions and even olives.
Serve at 18°C

Zibibbo NORMANNO I.G.T.
£14.50 – £87.00750ml Bottles
The word “Zibibbo” is derived from the Arabic word ‘zabib’ meaning raisins. The wine was originally from Egypt and was introduced by the Phoenicians when they landed in Pantelleria, a tiny island situated between mainland Sicily and the northern tip of Africa. Over time, vines of Zibibbo were planted in mainland Sicily, namely in the famous area of Marsala for its very similar terrain and geometry. The grapes have similar aromatics to that of Moscato but are left on the vine until slightly shriveled (a sign of partial fermentation) and then are left to dry in the sun. The result is an elegant and harmonious dessert wine that is the ideal accompaniment for typical Sicilian cakes, especially those with a ricotta cream base.
Recommended combination with food:
- Sicilian cakes
- Cream based desserts
- Ice cream and fruit desserts
Serve at 8° – 10°C
