This is a rosato style of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo labelled as Cerasuolo for the resulting cherry-red colour received after a brief contact with the highly pigmented skins of the Montepulciano varietal during maceration.
On the nose: Fruity bouquet of wild and red cherries plus hints of rose petals, orange peels, cinnamon and strawberry
On the palate: Cerasuolo tend to be medium-bodied and rather hearty for an Italian rosato . In the mouth it is fragrant and harmonic, strawberry, cherry, cinnamon
